Welcome to the N25 Midleton to Youghal Transport Project page
Cork County Council, in conjunction with Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII), is progressing the N25 Midleton to Youghal Transport Project, a long‑term strategic transport project designed to address existing and future transport challenges along the N25 corridor between Midleton and Youghal.
In partnership with Transport Infrastructure Ireland, Cork County Council has formally appointed the design consultants Roughan and O’Donovan Ireland – AECOM Limited Alliance to advance the project.
A project specific website will be launched soon which will be your central hub for all project updates, background information, public consultation materials, and opportunities to get involved.
What is happening now?
Traffic Surveys will be commencing on Monday the 11th of May 2026 to inform the project team of the traffic numbers and movements across the streets, roads and greenways within the Study Area. IDASO Ltd, a company specialising in traffic surveys, will be undertaking the surveys.
