Baile Bhúirne to Baile Mhic Íre Pedestrian Improvement Scheme
CORK COUNTY COUNCIL IS PROGRESSING WITH THE DESIGN OF THE BAILE BHÚIRNE TO BAILE MHIC ÍRE PEDESTRIAN IMPROVEMENT SCHEME
- The scheme will improve safety for pedestrians travelling between, and within the villages of Baile Bhúirne to Baile Mhic Íre.
- Traffic calming measures will be introduced to slow vehicular speeds, including the introduction of a 30km/h speed limit zone in Baile Mhic Íre.
- Pedestrian crossings will be provided to improve accessibility and safety.
- ‘Safe Routes to School’ treatments will be provided in the vicinity of Scoil Abán Naofa.
- The Project Team would like to hear your views in relation to the proposed scheme along with any information that you would like the Project Team to consider during the design stage.

- Cuirfidh an scéim feabhas ar shábháilteacht do choisithe atá ag taisteal idir shráidbhailte Baile Bhúirne agus Baile Mhic Íre agus taobh istigh díobh.
- Tabharfar isteach bearta maolaithe tráchta chun luas feithiclí a mhoilliú, lena n-áirítear crios luasteorann 30km/u i mBaile Mhic Íre.
- Cuirfear crosairí coisithe ar fáil chun feabhas a chur ar inrochtaineacht agus ar shábháilteacht.
- Cuirfear cóireálacha ‘Bealaí Sábháilte chun na Scoile’ ar fáil i limistéar Scoil Abán Naofa.
- Is mian leis an bhFoireann Tionscadail do thuairimí a fháil maidir leis an scéim bheartaithe, chomh maith le haon eolas is mian leat a bheith tugtha ar aird ag an bhFoireann Tionscadail i rith chéim an dearaidh.
